Aaiko’s catwalk show at the Modefabriek in de Rai Amsterdam is always promising. On Sunday, January 23 at the 30th edition, Little Soho was sitting front row and ready to admire the new collection of A/W ’11/’12.
The show was divided into three styles: during the first theme the color old orange jumped out. Combined with dark and light brown, it is becoming a musthave in the autumn and winter ’11/’12. We saw many leather, fake fur and knitwear in this theme. Jumpsuits ramain for a while and ruffles finished the items graceful.
In the second theme we saw many dark blue shades. This color looks great on velvet peaces and with tie dye prints. The trend of this summer, safari green subtly comes back in this theme. Contrasting were the striking red pant and jacket. Bloody beautiful!
Theme three was all black. The chic items are enriched with lace, leather pieces and sequins. Tweed sets (a jacket with a matching skirt) are elegant musthaves this season.
