After Harrod’s treated us to the most beautiful Disney princesses couture gowns for their Christmas windows, another department store has embarked on a collaboration with Disney to bring us Christmas magic, Disney style.

On November 14th, at 9pm EST on the dot, Barneys New York unveiled the Electric Holiday film in the windows of its Madison Avenue flagship. Brought to life by the brilliant minds at the Walt Disney Company (with a helping hand from AOL, Air France and Christie MicroTiles), the film offers a peek at the high-fashion world through the eyes of the ever-stylish Minnie Mouse.

Watch as Minnie embarks on a fantastical fashion adventure in Paris, where she walks the runway in Lanvin and rubs elbows with fashion-world figures like Linda Evangelista, Daphne Guinness, Naomi Campbell, Lady Gaga and many more. If you ask us, it’s the perfect combination of wit, fantasy and style with which to ring in the holidays!

But enough talk—it’s time to get in the Electric Holiday spirit!

It is not the Little Black Dress that is in fashion these days, it is the Little Black Jacket! That is why Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld focused on the Little Black Jacket as the new basic item for your wardrobe. They photographed 109 celebrities for their book The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld. This resulted in a collection of black and white photos with celebrities like Vanessa Paradis who all wear the Little Black Jacket in their own way.
