After New York, London and Milan it’s -last but not least- Paris’ turn. Until March 9th we can enjoy French inspiration on the catwalk during the Paris Fashion Week.
As usual the Fashion Week starts with shows from upcoming talents. Young designer Anthony Vaccarello is such a promising talent.
The Paris Fashion week is represented by big designer names, among them French fashion houses like Chanel, Dior, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Sonia Rykiel, Jean Paul Gaultier and Yves Saint Laurent. The international influences are from Dutch design duo Viktor & Rolf, Belgium designer Dries van Noten, Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto, Spanish label Loewe and English designer Vivienne Westwood.
Alexander McQueen’s show will be a happening. The artistic director of the house, Sarah Burton will show the second serie after the designers tragic death. Also Michael Kors, who celebrates 30 years creating, will show his new collection of AW’11. Paris has already embraced him: recently he opened his first boutique in Paris.
Want to see the action live from front row without an invite? Then remember the date: on March 9th at 10.00 o’clock the show of Louis Vuitton can be followed live at Vogue.com!
